On March 8th, our college celebrated International Women's Day.  It is an occasion to celebrate the progress made towards achieving gender equality and women's empowerment.  For 2022, the UN has given the theme “ Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow ”, which aims to recognise women who are working to build a more sustainable future and nation . Dr. Sharmila Nazeer (motivator, mentor, counsellor, teacher educator and principal of the Royal Children's Academy) was the chief guest of the program in our college. She enlightened us with the rights that a woman has, what all changes should be brought in the society regarding woman saftey and about some famous personalities. The talk was very informative and interactive.
