Subject Associated Programme- Natural Science

 The subject associated program was conducted on 13th January 2022 where the name of the event was "BioCiencia". BioCiencia is combination of two words: Bios meaning 'life' in Greek and Ciencia meaning 'science' in Spanish; In total it means 'Life Science'. Having five members in our department which included- Arundhati, Mrudula, Nafana, Sonia and myself, Nithya, we enthusiastically conducted the program with full support of our teacher, Mrs. Shubha Prabha. We also decorated the stage with some hanging paper crafts. Before the program began that afternoon my friends invited each teachers and students by presenting an invitation to them. 

Our program started with a comparing. A melodious prayer song was sung which was followed by welcome speech sharing about the importance of life science in everyday life. Our principal Dr J. Albaris gave the inaugural address. Then cultural programs were organised. Firstly a quiz was conducted by forming six groups of students from the audience. Students took part in the quiz with enthusiasm and the winners were appreciated with chocolates. Secondly we five members prepared a mime based on the current situation to give awareness regarding the covid scenario, social distancing and proper sanitizing methods.
Subject associated program gave us an opportunity to express our creativity and confidence and also to share our knowledge with others.

7th week teaching practice- Phase 2

On the 7th and the last week of teaching practice from July 24th to July 29th, I had taken class in 8th B, 8th C and 9th B. On 25th July, we were invited to our college to celebrate College Day and Patron's Feast. On 26th July, our school celebrated Vijayulsavam, to congratulate the Excellent students in the previous academic year. We helped in the stage decoration.  On 29th July, we had our last day of teaching practice. Students bided us farewell with some chocolates and we had a staff meeting in the evening were we reflected our journey during the teaching practice.

3rd & 4th week teaching practice- Phase 2

Third week teaching practice was between June 26th to July 1, 2023. During these days I had classes in 8th B, 8th C and 9th B. In class 9th, I completed the firat chapter and began with the second chapter- Food through digestive tract.  On 26th June, 2023, we celebrated International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in our school. An assembly dedicated for this celebration where an oath was taken. On 27th June, the school decided to conduct unit test for 8th, 9th and 10th Standard. On the same day I conducted Biology test in both 8th and 9th standard. On 1st July, me and Sonia conducted an activity based on National Doctor's Day. We gave students a talk on why doctor's day is celebrated, a role play on a day in hospital and Thanksgiving card preparation.  From July 3rd to July 7th, 2023 we had our fourth week teaching practice.
