International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day was celebrated in St. Michael's Higher Secondary School on June 21st. A special assembly was conducted were speech on importance and beginning of Yoga Day wa told. A group of students performed Yoga Dance.

3rd & 4th week teaching practice- Phase 2

Third week teaching practice was between June 26th to July 1, 2023. During these days I had classes in 8th B, 8th C and 9th B. In class 9th, I completed the firat chapter and began with the second chapter- Food through digestive tract.  On 26th June, 2023, we celebrated International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in our school. An assembly dedicated for this celebration where an oath was taken. On 27th June, the school decided to conduct unit test for 8th, 9th and 10th Standard. On the same day I conducted Biology test in both 8th and 9th standard. On 1st July, me and Sonia conducted an activity based on National Doctor's Day. We gave students a talk on why doctor's day is celebrated, a role play on a day in hospital and Thanksgiving card preparation.  From July 3rd to July 7th, 2023 we had our fourth week teaching practice. 1st & 2nd week Teaching practice- Phase 2

First week teaching practice of the second round began from June 12 to June 16, 2023. During these days I took classes in 8th B, 8th C and 9th B. 8th Biology 1st chapter: Life's Mysteries in Little Chamber. 9th Biology 1st Chapter: Protectors of Biosphere. On 12th June, we arrived at the school and started the day with a brief introduction with the Headmaster. She gave us instructions regarding the school and classes. We were then allotted a concern teacher who further provided us with timetable and necessary information. Me along with my friend Sonia, Biology training teacher conducted a Environment day quiz on June 12th. Students from classes 8th, 9th and 10th participated. Students from class 10th were the winners.
